Tolani College
Location: Tolani College of Commerce (TCC), situated 2 kms away from Andheri Station, stands tall with all its grandeur in the pleasant surroundings of Sher-E-Punjab society. Well, the name Sher-E-Punjab suits the college as Tolanians are always eager to beat all odds and march ahead. No wonder, TCC received university affiliation within a record time of eight years since its inception.
Campus Notes: Apart from TCC, the campus also encompasses the Tolani College of Management and Computer Science. The atrium atop Tolani College illuminates the three storey building enhancing its aesthetic look. The happening place is, however, the foyer where sporting encounters to meeting encounters abound all the year round. The most attractive part of the college is indeed the Auditorium. The party animal types hover around the auditorium as it is always abuzz with activities.
How's the library? In the initial years, the library was located in the building of Tolani College of Management and Computer Science. But with its growth, a need for space was highly felt and so it was shifted to the third floor of TCC. Equipped with varied books numbering over 6000, the library provides the bookworms with immense pleasure. This storehouse of knowledge has evolved gradually and has even been computerised. It also has the internet facility.
Canteen Clues: Though spacious and hygienic, it does not really provide a lengthy menu. Its steaming bread pakodas, aromatic samosas and uttapam are the favourite items. The other Indian stuff is not really bad. Well, if one is still not satisfied with this, he/she can always walk into the stalls with other relishable specialities across the street.
What's the crowd like? Cosmo is the word here for the college has all types from Punjabi, Sindhis to Parsis and Christians. Bright Spark: Who says that science students excel in Maths? TCC's, Anand Menon proved this myth wrong by being Third in the prestigious Maths Olympiad held last year at IIT, Powai. It is brilliance of this sort that enables the college to have an almost 100 per cent result every year.
Sporting encounter: Football, Rifle Shooting, Tennis and Squash are Tolanian's favourite. But they excel in Judo, too. Kashmira Badiya the Judo champ showed her mettle by winning prizes at the district level. Not only has the college won several medals at university, state and district level judo championship but has also been a host for the selection of judo team for the National Championship.
The formative years: Who can forget the founder? It was set up by Dr N P Tolani in 1989. Before setting up TCC, the same Tolani family also pioneered a vast academic complex in Adipur (Kutch) in Gujarat. This complex known as 'Vidya Mandir' includes The Tolani Kala Niketan, The Tolani Institute of Management Studies, Tolani Commerce College, Tolani College of Arts and Science, Tolani Eye Hospital and Research Centre and the Kaka Pribhdas Hearing Resource Centre. In the initial years, the Tolanians had no access to BEST buses. But as TCC started gaining reputation and the area developed, BEST buses to Tolani college were introduced.
Motto:

meaning knowledge is supreme is the motto that TCC believes in.
